How to Invest

Step 1

In order to invest in managed investments and superannuation funds without paying entry or exit fees click on the Join Now and provide your details.

Step 2

Select the fund that you wish to invest in, by using the search facility on our Find a Fund page. You can also browse through our list of Product Disclosure Statements (PDS) on our Complete List of PDS's page.

Step 3

To order a PDS simply click on 'Click to Order'. You will then be asked if you have read the Selfinvest.com.au Financial Services Guide (FSG). The FSG provides you details regarding the Selfinvest.com.au service. Once you have acknowledged that you have read the FSG simply follow the online instructions.

If you order a PDS via mail allow 3 business days for delivery.

Step 4

Once you receive the PDS carefully read it. If after you have read the PDS you wish to invest in any of the investments offered within the PDS you should carefully complete the attached application form(s).

To ensure you receive the full discount on entry fees, the application form(s) contained in the PDS(s) will be pre printed with our details and some of the boxes on the application forms may be pre checked. Do not alter our details in any way, otherwise you might not receive your rebate of entry fees.

You should note that where a PDS contains a nil entry fee option and an entry fee option, we will have pre selected the entry fee option and elected to rebate all initial commissions. This ensures that you pay no entry fees as well as accessing the lower ongoing administration fee offered within the PDS.

Step 5

Make your cheque(s) payable to the fund manager(s) as described in their PDS(s).

Step 6

Return the completed application form(s), together with the relevant cheque(s), directly to each of the fund managers' postal address as detailed in their PDS. Alternatively you can return them to us in the postage paid envelope we will provide you.

Note: You should retain the PDS(s) for your records.
